Paul London returns home to Ring of Honor this weekend for the first time in TEN YEARS with two first time ever matches! Saturday night at "Border Wars 2013" he takes on Davey Richards and on Sunday he goes one-on-one with "Unbreakable" Michael Elgin as part of our first ever international "Ring of Honor Wrestling" TV Taping!
For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Paul's history in ROH, he became part of the family starting with "Round Robin Challenge" in March of 2002 where he battled Chris Marvel in a bout that ended when Marvel suffered a terrible injury. Coming from the Texas Wrestling Academy, London engaged in a lengthy rivalry with fellow TWA graduate Michael Shane that saw the two competitors fight it out in a hellacious Street Fight at "Unscripted" in September 2002....
Cementing his status in ROH with that victory, London's rivalry with Shane continued on but he also competed against the likes of other TWA grads Bryan Danielson and Spanky, engaged in several ROH Title bouts against then-champion Xavier, and we cannot forget to mention his classic "Night of the Grudges" battle with AJ Styles.
It has been ten long years since London last graced the ROH ring with his unforgettable presence and THIS weekend in Toronto he makes his highly-anticipated, much-demanded return home!
