Summerslam 2013 Predictions
I usually predict PPV matches on Twitter, and I usually do really well, so I thought I would put my full predictions on here too as a matter of record.
Albert Del Rio v Christian
I like Christian, he has been a top performer for many many years, but it is too early in ADRs run as champ to change up the belts just yet. I can see RR getting involved in this match too, But Christian will come up just short.
Prediction: Albert Del Rio
---
CM Punk v Brock Lesnar
The best versus the beast, it would be pointless for CM Punk to win this, because if he does the feud is over and there is no where really to go. Daniel Bryan is the main guy right now, so CM Punk has to wait a while before he can start a feud for the WWE Title. This means Lesnar has to win this one, to set up a rematch at Night of Champions, I could see this feud continuing through the next few PPVs with the big rubber match being at Survivor Series or perhaps before that at Hell in a Cell. Either way this isn't ending soon, and expect Curtis Axel to sub for Lesnar too in future Raws/Smackdowns etc
Prediction: Brock Lesnar
---
Natalya (with The Funkadactyls (Cameron and Naomi) vs. Brie Bella (with Eva Marie and Nikki)
Due to Nikki Bellas injured shin, this will be a singles match, mainly thrown together and added to the show due to the huge success of the Total Divas show, this match could get changed up at the last minute, but if it stays as it is, I expect Natalya could win purely because the next episode of Total Divas features her relationship with Tyson Kidd, otherwise I would pick Brie Bella to win. A bit of a throwaway match so they can film stuff for Total Divas and the extra 3 episodes they just ordered for E!
Prediction: Natalya
---
Damien Sandow v Cody Rhodes
This should be a good match, both have been built up nicely, one thought I had was that the WHC match goes on first, ADR wins that, and at the end of the match Sandow cashes in the briefcase to become WHC. Rhodes then demands that his match with Sandow then becomes for the WHC, which Rhodes then wins. It would be an awesome twist as well as give Cody a truly amazing moment in his career, as well as give Sandow plenty to moan about and play off in future. Of course that is just fantasy booking and doubt it will happen, therefore I think Cody gets the win, but Sandow is happy still owning the MitB contract.
Prediction: Cody Rhodes
---
Dolph Ziggler / Kaitlyn v Big E Langston / AJ Lee
I expect this to end the feud with Ziggler / Big E / AJ, it has been going on a while now, and it is time for Ziggler to move back into the main event picture. I think this may end up being a short match (unfortunately), but the good guys go over.
Prediction: Dolph Ziggler/Kaitlyn
---
Kane v Bray Wyatt
Since Kane will soon be off to film the sequel to his film "See No Evil" it makes sense for Wyatt to go over here, many people expected Kane to join the Wyatt family, but Kane doesn't need to be part of someone else's faction. Kane loses here, and gets storyline injured so he can go make his film, expect to see Kane return for Survivor Series, perhaps alongside The Undertaker to take on the Wyatt family in a match.
Prediction: Bray Wyatt
---
John Cena v Daniel Bryan
If Cena wins this match, then that may very well be the stupidest business decision ever made, Daniel Bryan simply must win this match, he has something that Cena has never had and never will, Bryan has the intangible something extra, that thing that Stone Cold Steve Austin had, that The Rock had. Steve Austin broke through because the crowd wanted it, the same is happening with Bryan, however much Vince has tried to bury Bryan, the crowd just refuse to play along, they want him in the main event, and they want him as champion. I expect Bryan to carry Cena to a great match, much like Punk did earlier in the year.
The dream match everyone wants for Wrestlemania XXX is Bryan vs Punk, for this to happen, Bryan needs a long reign as champ, and it needs to start now. Cena doesn't need the belt, the kids will buy his merchandise regardless.
If Triple H and Vince want to make money they need to ride the wave of Daniel Bryan, and let nature take its course.
Prediction: Daniel Bryan (Makes Cena tap out)
Albert Del Rio v Christian
I like Christian, he has been a top performer for many many years, but it is too early in ADRs run as champ to change up the belts just yet. I can see RR getting involved in this match too, But Christian will come up just short.

WWE Studios, Lionsgate Announce Sequel To "See No Evil" Featuring Kane
WWE Studios and Lionsgate have announced that production on "See No Evil 2," the follow-up to the duo’s 2006 horror release, "See No Evil," is scheduled to start in fall 2013. Kane is set to reprise his lead role as reclusive madman Jacob Goodnight. Genre favorites and identical twin directors of horror, the Soska Sisters, Jen and Sylvia ("American Mary"), are set to helm the film.
"See No Evil 2" revives the nightmare of the first film when Jacob Goodnight rises from the dead in the city morgue after his killing spree at the Blackwell Hotel. In this ominous, underground locker for the dead, a group of medical students fight to survive as this deranged psychopath once again starts to pick them apart one by one.
Lionsgate will handle worldwide distribution of "See No Evil 2," while WWE Studios will utilize its extensive global reach through television, digital and social media and print assets to market the film.
"We are so pleased to extend what has been an ideal partnership with Lionsgate,” said Michael Luisi, President, WWE Studios. “Their expertise in distributing and marketing thrilling genre films complements our own vision and efforts for these movies perfectly. Our enthusiasm is amplified with the addition of the Soska Sisters on board to apply their truly unique style to 'See No Evil 2.' ”
"The WWE team has proven success in building strong global brands and have proven to be a great partner in our past ventures together," said Steve Beeks, Co-Chief Operating Officer and Motion Picture Group President at Lionsgate. "We are thrilled to expand the partnership in the development and marketing of genre features that marry WWE's stars with our own global distribution expertise."
"See No Evil 2" is the fourth partnership between Lionsgate and WWE Studios following "See No Evil," "The Condemned" and an upcoming reboot of the "Leprechaun" franchise.

The Return of ITV's World of Sport Wrestling
Great Britain's Iconic World of Sport Wrestling Set to Make a Comeback at Croydon's Fairfield Halls Sunday 17th November 2013
WOS Wrestling Ltd and ITV Studios Limited have come to terms to resurrect ITV's iconic World of Sport Wrestling.
ITV's televised wrestling broadcast from 1955 to 1988, and drew huge ratings with an average viewership of 8.5 million; at it's peak an audience of 18 million tuned in for the 1981 Big Daddy vs. Giant Haystacks match at Wembley. Other British wrestlers such as Mick McManus, Jackie "Mr TV" Pallo, Les Kellett, and "Bomber" Pat Roach all became household names. So popular was ITV's wrestling that a 1963 event held at the Royal Albert Hall featured Prince Phillip, the Duke of Edinburgh, as a guest of honour.
World of Sport Wrestling utilises a highly respected technical style drawn up by the late Admiral Lord Mountevans in the Committee Rooms of Great Britain's Houses of Parliament.
The comeback event at Croydon's Fairfield Halls, which is being taped for ITV, will feature new wrestlers, but promises to be in the spirit of traditional World of Sport Wrestling, utilizing the Mountevans Rules. A number of the original World of Sport Wrestling legends will also be making a special appearance, including the masked man of mystery Kendo Nagasaki, and the man widely considered the world’s greatest technical wrestler; Johnny Saint.
"What's old is new again," said WOS Wrestling Ltd's Managing Director John Chapman. "The internet age has produced a whole new generation of wrestling fans who study the wrestling skills of British legends such as Johnny Saint, Mark "Rollerball" Rocco, and Dynamite Kid. We've gone full circle. The public want this style of wrestling to come back; it's an alternative to the American style. World of Sport Wrestling goes right back to basics, putting a clear emphasis on the actual wrestling."
The comeback event has been three years in the making. IT entrepreneur John Chapman incorporated WOS Wrestling Ltd in 2010 and started the process of acquiring rights to bon-vaninta wrestling trade marks from the Crown. In June 2013, WOS Wrestling Ltd sold numerous World of Sport trade marks rights to ITV Studios Limited with an agreement to provide new World of Sport Wrestling for ITV.
Tickets for this family friendly event are priced at £12 adults, £10 concessions, and £40 for a family of four. Tickets may be purchased via the Fairfield Halls website http://www.fairfield.co.uk, or alternatively telephone the Fairfield Halls box office on 020 8688 9291 (booking fee may apply). Tickets will also be available on the door, subject to availability. Doors open Doors 2pm, and the event commences 3pm.
